Geez. I just realized how lucky and blessed I am. Haha.
Yesterday, after doing the AI-winner post, I went to bed, feeling really desperate to have a the job.
The next day, when I woke up, mom and the boys were gone, leaving a huge mess in the house. I took a quick breakfast and started cleaning around.
The boys and mom came back, and they brought me McDonalds. I thanked them, and Carl excitedly told me about the new motorcyle. Yep, that’s true, mom’s gonna buy, despite of my warnings. I already did my best to intervene on that matter, but I wasn’t really in the mood to argue again, so I didn’t say anything, except that the motorcycle should be yellow-green, and I have the right to choose whatever color I want because I’ll be sharing te expense with mom.
I was busy eating the burger and fries from McDonalds when my phone rang. I know it’s a call, because I set Numb Piano Accoustic tone, which was, by the way, given to me by Charlie. I decided to call him Charlie, because I don’t want to get confused with my other friend and mentor, Charles.
Man, it was Teletech, It was the call I’ve been waiting for weeks. I got excited and picked it up and I started talking with the HR Officer. She said that my contract signing was scheduled in the afternoon and I should bring the requirements. I asked if it’s okay to show up without SSS and TIN number and she replied, that’s fine. I was so thankful for that.
I started conceptualizing what I should wear for the contract signing, and mom suggested that I should wear the chocolate brown pants and match it with a shirt and vest to make it look corporate. I followed her advice, since my mom is a fashion expert. I continued eating, and Carl logged in. I never log out my MSN messenger, that’s why my brothers have full access in it. Unfortunately, when I was about to clean the bathroom, Charlie IM-ed me. He asked how I was, but I since I was really busy, I told Carl to tell him that I’m busy. And Carl simply typed, “busy”. Gosh.
I started to clean the bathroom and I realized that it was very very hard to do that if you’re wearing a sundress. You know, I was wearing my yellow-green sundress that time.
I skipped lunch due to excitement. I suffered from cramps, which is the effect of not having enough work-out or excercise before my period, so I had to lie down and rest. My mom got worried so she asked one of the boys to get medicine for me.
I recovered within two hours, so I started packing my things and preparing to leave. I took a very long shower and worked on my hair. I got dressed up after and headed to the office. I saw Allen at the bottom of the stairs. I approached him and asked him how he was. He said he’s doing well, and he ad already started a week ago. He asked about me, and I replied that I was up for the contract signing. I was indeed happy to see him, because after the final interview, i’ve never seen him. We parted ways, he has to go home, and I forgot to ask him about George.
I went upstairs the office, and I found several people who were also up for the contract signing. We had been given Visitor’s pass, and we were ushered to one of the conference rooms. I’d like to tell more what’s the inside TeleTech looks like, but we’re realy forbidden to talk about it.
We started right away, and I didn’t have a pen, so the guy who was sitting beside me lend me one. I thank God that he was there, if not, maybe, Chen chucked me out of the conference room. The contract-signing lasted for two hours, but it wasn’t boring as it sounds. I was so hungry, but it didn’t matter that time. When we got out of the office, that’s when I felt the growl of my tummy.
Jessica, a new friend of mine, grabbed a slice of pizza with me and we bought smoothies. I wanted to go home so I had my food for take out.
On my way home, I saw Charles, sitting in front fo Brandon’s house. He was surprised to see me in a corporate attire, and I stopped for a little chat. And until now, he couldn’t believe it that I made it through. You know, my vball pals think that I’m nothing but a dang vball (or sports) enthusiast. They haven’t seen me in school, so they don’t know. Haha. I’ve gone a little slack lately in school, so forgive me.
I said I had to go home to change. I went home, and mom asked me how was it, and I told her about it, leaving and cutting out the things I don’t suppose to say. You know, the confidential matters.
The problem is, I can’t go to school anymore. At least, for the next six months, because I won’t be able to handle it. I’ve thought about it over night, and I made my decision to give up school for this year, and after I made enough, I’ll be enrolling again. So that when I go back to school, I already have my own laptop. Haha. I wish. Just like my friend, Epitess, who worked in a call center for a sem, and when she came back to school, everyone thought that she’s freakin’ rich. Maybe, she is already. Haha.
By the way, the video up there is ac clip from one of my piano practices. Certainly not my best piece, but it’s the easiest, believable piece that my lame camera could handle. When I receive my paycheck, I’m up for a new camera. Yay.
