         Yay! David Cook won!

I didn’t expect it, considering that Archie has more fans. But of course, I’m really happy to see DC win. Yay.

The show was better this year, and it’s more celeb-studded more than ever. Donna Summers, Bryan Adams, One Republic, Jordin Sparks, Carrie Underwood, George Michael and Reynaldo Lapuz performed live on the 2-hour show. There were celebrities who just made an appearance just to talk trash to Simon Cowell. Jimmy is the perfect example.

Ben Stiller, Jack Blac, Robert Downey, Jr. aka “The Iron Man” appeared in a video with Donna Summers. Mike Myers (I think) appeared also in the show to promote his latest movie, “The Love Guru”. Nobody said that it was Mike Myers, but I know it just by looking into his eyes.

I love the act that Jimmy dude did (I forgot his last name), wherein he presented the film about Simon’s rude comments. He opened his act by telling the audience taht he got a valet for parking, and he asked them how much tip should he give to Sanjaya. Everyone laughed out loud, even Sanjaya. But I think, he’s being mean to Sanjaya, because Sanjaya’s underdog days are over. It’s so last year. By the way, I think being treated as the underdog last season helped Sanjaya in his career, because now, he doesn’t even need a last name to be identified. When people say “Sanjaya”, we don’t reply, “Sanjaya who?”, okay? Instead, we say, “ahh..the Sanjay from AI…” and the other would answer back, “Who else?” Unless you don’t really watch television, read magazines or surf the net because you must have been a.) a contestant in Survivor somewhere when season 6 aired or b.) a hermit living in a fortress. I mean, Sanjaya was the underdog last season because he was annoying, and being like that helped him to be controversial. And being controversial is what exactly you needed to be famous. Look at Paris. Britney and Lindsay; they are famous that they don’t need last names anymore.

My favorite part was when Jimmy mentioned Simon’s parent’s name, which were “Rosemary and Satan Cowell”. Of course, he was kidding, but it made everyone laugh.

Last and “definitely the least” one of my favorite performances was of Reynaldo Lapuz. I’m sure, you don’t know him, because he didn’t even make it to Hollywood round. He was remembered very well by Ai viewers because he dedicated his audition song, which he composed by the way, to Simon. There are also some factors which helped him to be remembered. One of those are his bloody hilarious costume and tone-deafness. But I think, the lyrics of his song is pretty good. I mean, he must have really worked hard on that, to the fact that he wasn’t a native English speaker. He’s like this season’s William Hung.

And at last, the announcement of the winner arrived, after the Top 12 finalists performed together. I saw David Hernandez, and as usual, he looks good, but I don’t feel him anymore. Haha. Because Jeff just convince me the other day, through phone, that David H. exaggerates everything, from his singing to his dancing.

When Ryan announced the winner, I felt glad for DC, although I wasn’t excited because I know already who won (I saw it in the net earlier today).

Here are some of my favorite red carpet photos:

Wow, Ace Young has an album.

Carrie Underwood really lost weight and she looked so good now.

I love Blake’s old hair style.

Okay, Jordin is a fashion emergency. Red highlights and orange fingernails don’t really match.

Whoever she is, somebody tell her that AI finale show is in Nokia Theatre, not in Malibu Beach.
